Cross Country Competes at 2004 ECAC Championships

Bronx, NY (November 20, 2004) - The St. John's University cross country team closed out its 2004 season this afternoon at the 96th ECAC Championships at Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx, NY. The Red Storm finished 16th overall among the best squads in the northeast.
Freshman Jodey Johnson crossed the line first for St. John's, recording a 19:33 time in the 5k run. This is the fourth time that Johnson has come in first for the Red Storm this past season.
Junior Jasmine Barreto followed close behind at 20:17, while Aja Williams notched a 20:36 time in the competition. Newcomers Tara Normandin (22:16) and Shelby Mix (22:24) also showed an outstanding performance for St. John's in the event.
