Queens, NY - St. John's University has announced that its women's basketball game on January 22 against Syracuse will tipoff at 12 pm, rather than it's originally scheduled time of 2 pm. In order to accommodate the men's televised game against Boston College that same evening, the game time has been pushed back two hours.
The Red Storm are off to their best start ever, entering the Christmas break with a perfect 10-0 record. Kia Wright (Copiague, NY) is St. John's leading scorer, averaging 16.8 points per game. Angela Clark (Copiague, NY) leads the team in rebounding with 9.8 boards per game and is second in scoring with 14.4 points per game.
St. John's will close out its 2004-05 non-conference slate on December 30 at home against Holy Cross at 2 pm. The BIG EAST season kicks off on January 2 with a game against Connecticut at Carnesecca Arena at 2 pm.
