Zollman Qualifies for BIG EAST Championships

Coral Gables, Fl.- Grace Zollman (Joseph, Ore.) qualified for the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships this weekend at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fl. The senior threw a 36.92m in the Javelin and placed fifth in the competition.
Zollman is coming off a successful outdoor season in 2002, setting a personal best in the Javelin throw at 40.21m and participated in the USA Track and Field Junior Championships. Zollman is looking to achieve even more this outdoor season for the Red Storm.
The Red Storm returns to action on March 26-27, when they will travel to Gainesville, Fl. for the Florida Relays.
