After earning her 250th career victory and the Red Storm sweeping BIG EAST perennial powerhouse Notre Dame last Sunday, head coach Joanne Persico-Smith and the St. John???s volleyball team have been featured on ESPN.com.

ESPN special contributor Dave Reed says ???with victories over the three teams that were predicted to finish ahead of St. John's in the conference standings, the Red Storm has the inside track to be the No. 1 seed at the Big East Championship.???

The Red Storm owns a 23-1 overall record and is in first place in the conference with a perfect 8-0 mark. St. John???s has received votes in the CSTV/AVCA Top-25 Coaches Poll for the last four consecutive weeks and continues to hold onto first place in the Northeast Region.

St. John???s returns to the court on Friday, Oct. 27, when it hosts Georgetown at 7 p.m., in Carnesecca Arena.
