QUEENS, N.Y. - In a special feature to New York's Amsterdam News, reporter Lois Elfman wrote about the opportunities the St. John's cross country program has to offer a walk-on freshman such as Amanda Littlejohn.
In the feature, Littlejohn talks about her decision to come to St. John's and ultimately join the prestigious cross country team under head coach Jim Hurt.
A Philadelphia native, Littlejohn captained both her cross country and track and field teams at Philadelphia High School for Girls.
