Men??' Golf Wins Lacrosse Home Intercollegiate

QUEENS, N.Y. ??? The St. John???s men???s golf team earned the championship title at the Lacrosse Homes Intercollegiate, hosted by Towson University, March 31-April 1. The Red Storm shot a five-under par 279 over the two rounds and junior co-captains Keegan Bradley and George Zolotas took first and second place, respectively.
Bradley carded a two-under par 142 (72-70) en route to his fourth championship title of the season at the Intercollegiate while Zolotas tied for second place overall, posting a one-under par 143 (73-70). Rounding out the top-10 scorers for St. John???s was rookie Mike Ballo, who helped the Red Storm secure its victory with a one-over par 145.
Fellow rookie Dan Mollicone finished with a 152 over the two round event while sophomore Kevin Velardo recorded a 153 on the green.
The Red Storm has played spectacularly so far in its spring season, as it has finished in the top-5 or better in all four of its events. St. John???s started out the season with a win at the Treasure Coast Classic and then went on to take fifth at the Palmetto Classic. The team followed up with a second place showing at the William and Mary Invitational and can now add another championship title to its record.
St. John???s will close out the regular season at the Princeton Invitational April 13 through 14.
