The Red Storm will compete in three-day, three-round conference tournament from May 2-4 at Riverton Pointe Golf Club in Hardeeville, S.C. The 54-hole tournament will commence the tee times starting at 8 a.m. The first place team and the individual winner if not on the winning team will receive an automatic berth into NCAA Regionals.

The Johnnies line-up will feature- Eli Weidmann, Joseph Dolezal, Max McColgan, David Mlynek and Frank Wu.
St. John's enters the postseason following a 2025-26 campaign that featured five top-three finishes over 10 events. A youthful Red Storm roster features four underclassmen in its starting line-up, including a pair of freshman that rank first and third on the team in stroke average, respectively.
Weidmann, a rookie out of Murphys, Calif., paces the Johnnies with a 72.7 stroke average and has logged six top-20 finishes in 10 appearances, including a season-best third place finish in his collegiate debut at the Metropolis Intercollegiate on Sept. 8-9.
Dolezal has engineered a strong sophomore campaign heading into this weekend's conference tournament. The Old Westbury, N.Y., native recorded three top-five finishes and won medalist honors at the Gulf Coast Collegiate in New Orleans in late February.
Head Coach Phil Wildermuth is leading St. John's into the BIG EAST Championships for the fourth time. The Red Storm have had a player qualify for NCAA Regionals in all three years of Wildermuth's tenure. Jack Simon (2023) and Peicheng Chen (2024) both won medalist honors in back-to-back years before Chen qualified for the NCAA Amherst Regional last season as an at-large individual selection. The Johnnies had their best team finish under Wildermuth in 2023, when St. John's finished runner-up.
Since the BIG EAST Men's Golf Championships began in 1979, St. John's was won 10 team titles the most of any program in the league. The Johnnies captured nine conference crowns in an 11-year span from 1979-1989 under Head Coach Jack "Doc" Gimmler and most recently won the title in 2014.
