Michaelsen Earns ECAC Weekly Honors

QUEENS, N.Y. - The Red Storm lacrosse team's attackman Tom Michaelsen earned a spot on the ECAC Weekly Honor Roll for his two-goal performance against the Massachusetts Minutemen on Saturday.
The senior from Bethpage, N.Y., had a team-high three points, in the Red Storm's 13-8 loss to the Minutemen. His two goals came off just four shots, three on goal. Both of Michaelsen's unassisted goals came in the second half of play, when St. John's outscored the Minutemen 5-3.
With his three points, Michaelsen has now tallied a total of 103 career points and is No. 5 on the St. John's all-time scoring list.
Michaelsen has five goals and five assists for a season total of 10 points.
St. John's (0-9, 0-4 ECAC) will host the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. The game will be televised live on CN8 (Comcast Cable).
