St. John's University
1982-present
- 2008 marks his 20th season as the head coach of the Red Storm's cross country, track & field program.
- Has had athletes compete in 18 consecutive years of NCAA Championship competition and 12 USA National Championship competitions.
Since 1988
- 19 Metropolitan Conference titles.
- 16 athletes have competed in the Olympic Trials.
- 55 BIG EAST Individual Champions since 1988.
- Produced 17 NCAA qualifying performers in the middle to long distances.
- Team was runner-up at the 1989 and 1996 ECAC Indoor Championships, the 1996 IC4A Championships, the 1993 ECAC Cross Country Championships.
- 1987 Outdoor BIG EAST Champions.
- 1989 Outdoor BIG EAST Championship Runner-Up.
- 1995 BIG EAST Staff of the Year.
- 1996 NCAA Region II Cross Country Coach of the Year.
- 15 NCAA All-Americans since 1991.
- From 2006-2008, 47 student-athletes were named to the BIG EAST Academic team, both the cross country and track & field teams earned U.S. Track & Field, Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)All-Academic Honors.

- University of Chicago Track Club.
- Oregon Track Club.
- Secretary-Treasurer of the IC4A Coaches Association (present).
- Distance Coach for the East team at the USOC Sports Festival in Colorado Springs, Colo. (1995).
University of Notre Dame
1972-1976
- Established school records in the three-mile run and mile relay.
- Captained both the cross country and track & field teams.

- Masters in government and politics from St. John's (1989).
- Bachelor's degree from University of Notre Dame (1976).
