BIG EAST Championship: Day One Results
Head coach Ambry Bishop-LaRosa and the women's golf team are in fourth place overall after first round of the BIG EAST Championship at the par-72, 5,968 yard, Lake Jovita Country Club.
St. John's (18-over 306) was led by juniors Michele Romano and Lois Kim who both carded a 2-over 74 and are currently tied for seventh overall.
Junior Renee Cloutier is tied for 20th overall and third on the team with a five-over 77. Freshman Ellen Oswald, 9-over 81, and Junior Samantha Tejada, 14-over 86, round out the starting five for the Red Storm and are tied for 29th and 34th respectively.
Round two of the Championship begins tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. Live stats for the next two rounds of the event on Monday and Tuesday can be accessed at Golfstat.com.
