No. 71 Princeton Slips Past St. John's, 4-3

PRINCETON, N.J. - The St. John's men's tennis squad fell to No. 71 Princeton on the road, 4-3, in nonconference action on Sunday.
The Red Storm captured three singles points, but it wasn't enough to get past the Tigers, who won the doubles point to earn the match victory.
STJ moves to 2-3 on the season after the weekend.
Stefan Bojic got things started in the No. 3 slot with a win over Yohei Shoji, 7-5, 6-1.
Martin Kosut continued at No. 4, taking down Matt Spindler in three sets, 7-6, 5-7 and 7-5.
Mike Lampa won the third singles point for the Red Storm in the No. 5 position over Ravi Yegva-Ramen, 7-5, 6-3.
As the match hung in the balance, the No. 71-ranked Tigers came through in the No. 6 singles match to earn the victory over St. John's.
The Red Storm continues spring action on Friday, Feb. 26 at Columbia.
