RADFORD, Va. - The St. John's men's tennis team fell 4-1 to Radford on the road on Saturday afternoon, but earned the doubles point in the defeat. The Red Storm moves to 3-7 on the season.
Pavel Cerny and Derek Wallensteen teamed up for a No. 2 doubles victory over Paul Boslet and Erik Finkenbrink, 9-8 before a team of Dustin Goldenberg and Martin Kosut downed Igor Ogrizek and Zack Watson of Radford, 9-8 (10-8).
Radford captured singles points at No. 1, 3, 5 & 6 as the No. 2 & 4 matches were left unfinished.
The Red Storm returns to action on Friday, March 26 to face Stony Brook in Queens at 1 p.m.
