Persico To Hold Winter Tune-Up Clinic Jan. 14-16

QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's head volleyball coach Joanne Persico and the Red Storm coaching staff will hold a winter clinic consisting of three sessions from Jan. 14-16, at Carnesecca Arena for young players looking to refine their skills during the winter months.
Clinic participants will have the opportunity to refine their volleyball skills through instruction from an experienced Division I volleyball coaching staff, including the 2006 BIG EAST Coach of the Year. Skill instruction will consist of passing, serving, blocking, spiking, digging and rolling.
The three-session format will be held from Friday, Jan. 14 - Sunday, Jan. 16. The clinic is available for boys and girls grades 3-12, with each session being held from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Participants can chose to sign up for one, two or all three sessions. The price is $30 per session, $50 for two sessions and $60 for all three sessions.
Clinic check-in will take place 30 minutes before the start of each session. Participants must fill out the required forms and paperwork before taking part in each clinic.
