Red Storm Falls to Dartmouth, 2-0

With the loss, the Red Storm falls to 3-5-0 on the season, while Dartmouth improves to 1-2-1 following the victory.
The Big Green opened the scoring in the 37th minute, as Meredith Gurnee tallied her first goal of the season on an assist from Meredith Gurnee.
The Red Storm defense held Dartmouth off the board for the next 30 minutes of play, but the Big Green struck again when Lindsay Knutson netted her second goal of the season in the 67th minute. Jackie Friedman picked up an assist on the second Dartmouth tally.
Diana Poulin played all 90 minutes in the net for the Red Storm, registering three saves in the process.
St. John's returns to action on Thursday night, heading back to Belson Stadium for a 7 p.m. tilt with Stony Brook.
