SJU-TV To Produce Seven Volleyball Matches For ESPN3

QUEENS, N.Y. – As part of a production agreement with ESPN, the St. John’s University Television Network (SJU-TV) will produce seven St. John’s volleyball games this fall that will be carried live in H.D.-quality to more than 95 million homes on ESPN3.
“Our program is excited to have so many games available on ESPN3,” remarked head coach Joanne Perisco. “Our student-athletes worked tremendously hard both on and off the court and it’s great that our games are available for their friends and family.”
A total of 16 live games will be produced by SJU-TV for ESPN3 in the fall season, including the six men’s soccer games, seven volleyball matches and three women’s soccer games.
The ESPN3 schedule for the volleyball team includes the last match of the Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic against Fresno State (Sept. 13) as well as games against LaSalle (Sept. 17), Marquette (Sept. 27), Butler (Oct. 10), Xavier (Oct. 11), Seton Hall (Oct. 30) and Creighton (Nov. 15).
SJU-TV live-game productions feature four-camera H.D. broadcasts with full graphics integration, instant replay, and both a play-by-play announcer and color analyst to give fans a high-quality viewing experience.
