Red Storm Squares off Against Hofstra in Dual Match

QUEENS, N.Y. - Coming off a solid showing at the Bucknell Women's Invitational a few weeks back, the St. John's women's golf team returns to action on Thursday when the Red Storm squares off against local rival Hofstra as part of the Hofstra Dual Match at the Huntington Country Club in New York.
After taking second in her last tournament, senior Anna Kim seeks her second career medal in the two-day event in Huntington. Kim was four strokes shy of the individual championship at Bucknell after carding a 225 (+15) and will look to lead St. John's at Hofstra.
St. John's posted a total score of 962 (+122) to finish the second tournament of the season ahead of Monmouth, Siena, LIU Brooklyn, Valparaiso, Bucknell, Kutztown and Niagara.
Junior Saskia Sterud placed inside the top-30 for the second time in as many events as she improved seven spots on the final day at Bucknell to finish 23rd.
