Joe Tartamella Announces Dates for 2015 Summer Camps

QUEENS, N.Y. - Widely regarded as one of the top up-and-coming mentors in all of women's college basketball, Head Coach Joe Tartamella has announced the dates for his 2015 summer camps to be held on the Queens Campus of St. John's University.
Highlighting the calendar are two sessions of girls basketball camp in Taffner Field House for girls in grades 3-8. The first week of camp will run from June 29-July 3, before week two runs from Aug. 3-7. Campers will be divided by age and ability, while instruction will focus on proper fundamentals and individual skill development. Tuition for each session is $275, but campers who sign up for both weeks will receive a $50 discount ($500 total). Discounts are also available for St. John's employees and campers signing up in groups of five or more.
On June 26, Coach Tartamella will host a one-day camp for high school student athletes that are looking to make the jump to the college game. The Next Level Elite Camp will feature intense college-level workouts and drills, in addition to an NCAA Education sessions for those serious about playing on the big stage. Tuition for the day is $30 and camp will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The following day, St. John's will begin hosting its annual Team Camp, open to all teams in grades 9-12. All teams will have the opportunity to play four games during two days (June 27-28), and teams must have at least 10 players and two coaches at the time of registration. The fee for each team is $300 prior to June 1, but will rise to $350 after that date.
Campers at all sessions will receive a free t-shirt and participate in an education session about the NCAA.
