Kieran McArdle Named to 2015 MLL All-Star Team

QUEENS, N.Y. -- Former Red Storm star Kieran McArdle was selected to the 2015 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) All-Star Game Team to be held on Saturday, June 13 at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas. McArdle, the Florida Launch attackman, will make his first All-Star team appearance in just his second season in the MLL.
The MLL announced its All-Star game rosters on Tuesday, June 2 consisting of eight attackmen, 14 midfielders, 11 defensemen, four goalies and four face-off specialists. Two fans, Hayden MacArthur and Ethan Sorkin, will select the two teams in a draft the night before the game as part of the MLL Ultimate Fan Fantasy contest.
With this All-Star Team selection, McArdle continues to add to his decorated lacrosse career. The former three-time United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-American and two-time BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year was awarded the MLL's 2014 Cascade Rookie of the Year just a few months after graduating from St. John' last year.
McArdle currently sits as the fourth-leading scorer in the MLL with a total of 35 points on the year: 24 goals and 11 assists in eight games.
