Plenn becomes the first freshman in program’s BIG EAST history to earn all-conference honors
NEW YORK – St. John's lacrosse redshirt freshman Noah Plenn has been named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team, the conference office announced Monday.
Plenn becomes the first freshman in program's BIG EAST history to earn all-conference honors, He also extends the Red Storm's streak to three consecutive seasons with an All-BIG EAST selection, joining Bobby Seel and Brian Kelly, who earned recognition in each of the past two years.
The Cape May, N.J., native led the Red Storm attack in 2026, recording a team-high 39 points on 25 goals and 14 assists in just 12 games. Plenn also paced the team in shots on goal (57) and man-up goals (4), establishing himself as one of the conference's most dynamic offensive threats.
The Delaware transfer earned three BIG EAST weekly honors during the season, including two freshman of the week selections and an offensive Player of the Week nod following a four-point performance against Marquette on April 4.
Plenn made an immediate impact in his St. John's debut, tallying six points in his first collegiate appearance against NJIT on Super Bowl Sunday. He later delivered one of the top performances in program history in an 18-10 victory over Quinnipiac, recording eight points on five goals and three assists. The eight-point outing marked the highest single-game point total by a freshman since the program's reinstatement in 2005.
