Kaitleen Shee Named BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week

Shee finished second at Yale Women’s Fall Intercollegiate to earn conference honors
Following a second place finish at the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate on Sunday, Kaitleen Shee has been named BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference this afternoon.
Shee paced the field for the Red Storm last weekend recording a three-round one-under 212 to lift the Red Storm to an 11th place finish.
The Irvine, Calif., native fired a first-round four-over 75 on Friday before registering a season-best four-under 67. The junior's second round effort was highlighted by seven birdies over 18 holes. Shee turned in a final-round one-under 70 to close out play on Sunday, earning her second top-two finish of the fall slate.
Shee has now finished inside the top-15 in all three tournaments this fall.
The St. John's women's golf team will return to the links on Oct. 14, for the first round of the Brown Bear Invitational in Seekonk, Mass.
