St. John's Women’s Golf Readies for Lehigh Invitational

The Johnnies will tee off at 9:30 a.m. on Monday
The St. John's women's golf team will wrap up its fall slate this week at the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa.
The 36-hole event will begin for the Johnnies at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the par-72, 6,012 yard course. The final round will be played on Tuesday beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Head coach Ambry Bishop's lineup will consist of Linda Wang in the no. 1 slot, followed by Cloe Clocchiatti, Jessie Kweon, Andrea Sanchez and Kaitleen Shee. Freshmen Jill Beglin and Laia Barro will be competing as individuals.
Wang is coming off a stellar performance at the Towson Invitational, where she recorded her second individual title of the season to earn BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week. The Fresh Meadows, N.Y., native drained a tournament-high eight birdies over 36 holes to finish with a two-round total of three-under 141, helping to lift the Red Storm to a second place finish.
Shee will look to reclaim her title this week, as the Irvine, Calif., native earned medalist honors at the Lehigh Invitational last season. The senior golfer turned in scores of 74 and 75 to help the Johnnies finish inside the top-five.
The 10-team field will include Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, La Salle, Lehigh, Maryland Eastern Shore, Monmouth, Quinnipiac, Saint Francis, Siena and St. John's.
Results will be posted to RedStormSports.com at the conclusion of each day.
