St. John’s Rolls Past Binghamton, 4-1

Coach Leo’s squad bounces back with a win after suffering tough loss to Dartmouth last Sunday
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's Women's Tennis team returned to its winning ways on Sunday, defeating Binghamton 4-1, at Cunningham Park.
In doubles play, St. John's quickly won the first two matches from the No. 1 and 2 positions, earning them the first point of the afternoon.
In the No. 1 match, Jessica Livianu and Najah Dawson wasted no time as they defeated Binghamton's Tiffany Dun and Samara Eisenberg, 6-1.
The duo of Olaya Inclan Solis and Oceane Garibal clinched the doubles point for the Johnnies at the No. 2 position as they took care of Binghamton's Ashley Granieri and Michelle Eisenberg, 6-3.
In singles play, freshman Najah Dawson wrapped up her singles match against Michelle Eisenberg in the No. 3 match, 6-2, 6-1, to give St. John's their first singles point of the match.
Livianu and Solis dominated in their respective No. 1 and No. 4 matches with victories over Samara Eisenberg, 6-2, 6-1, and Tiffany Dun, 6-1, 6-0.
St. John's returns to action on Friday as they host Brown at the National Tennis Center at noon.
