Walk-On Tryouts Set for Sept. 25

St. John’s students will have opportunity to join historic Red Storm baseball program
QUEENS, N.Y. (Aug. 20, 2019) – Entering his 25th season at the helm of the St. John's baseball program, Head Coach Ed Blankmeyer has announced the dates for this fall's walk-on tryouts.
St. John's students interested in earning a place in a program that has been to 37 NCAA Tournaments and six College World Series must first attend a meeting on Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. to fill out the necessary compliance paperwork with the NCAA. The location for that meeting has yet to be determined.
The tryout itself will take place exactly one week later, Sept. 25, at 2 p.m. on the field at Jack Kaiser Stadium, the home of the nine-time BIG EAST Champion Red Storm.
