St. John's Women’s Golf Team to Compete in Princeton Invitational

The Johnnies will tee off at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday
The St. John's women's golf team will continue its fall slate on Saturday with the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Course in Princeton, N.J.
The 36-hole event will begin for the Johnnies at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday on the par-72, 6,121 yard course, with the final round taking place on Sunday. Tee times for the last 18 holes will be announced following first-round scores.
Linda Wang is coming off a first-place finish at the Boston College Intercollegiate where she fired a three-round 219 (+3). The Fresh Meadows, N.Y., native will look to build off of that momentum on Saturday by starting in the No. 1 slot for St. John's.
Freshman Laia Barro, who also placed inside the top-10 at the Johnnies' first event of the season, will be playing as the No. 2 golfer. Jessie Kweon, Andrea Sanchez and Jill Beglin will round out the lineup for the Red Storm.
Cloe Clocchiatti and Kaitleen Shee will be competing as individuals.
The Red Storm will join conference foe Seton Hall and Georgetown as the only three BIG EAST teams participating in the event. The other competing programs include host school Princeton along with Albany, Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn, Rollins and Yale.
All results will be posted on Golfstat and RedStormSports.com at the conclusion of each day.
