Rodriguez Tabbed to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The sophomore libero averaged 4.91 digs per set in the Red Storm’s 2-1 week
QUEENS, N.Y. (March 16, 2021) – After collecting 54 digs across St. John's three matches last week, sophomore libero Iliana Rodriguez has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced on Tuesday by the league office.
Rodriguez averaged 4.91 digs per set in the Red Storm's 2-1 week, ranking third in the league.
The Johnnies' libero posted a match-high 22 digs in St. John's four-set win over Seton Hall on Saturday. She also collected four assists and one ace.
Rodriguez recorded 17 digs, two aces and two assists in the Red Storm's four-set loss to Villanova on Wednesday before racking up 15 digs and three assists in the Johnnies' sweep of the Pirates on Friday.
St. John's returns to action this Friday and Saturday against Providence at Carnesecca Arena. The two contests are both slated for a 3 p.m. start time.
