St. John’s to Compete in LuLu Spring Invitational

The field will consist of three teams, including St. Johns, Villanova and La Salle

The St. John's men's golf team will travel to Glenside, Pa. on Saturday to compete in the LuLu Spring Invitational hosted by BIG EAST foe Villanova.

Sophomore Ryan Rittberger, who led St. John's at the Peacock Invitational, will enter the LuLu Spring Invitational as the team's number one golfer. The Greenlawn, N.Y., native turned in a 71 over 18 holes to finish in a tie for third.

Sophomore Alex Kyriacou and junior Jack Simon are slotted in the second and third positions. Junior Tyler Gerbavsits and sophomore Gage Wolfle will play in the fourth and fifth slots. Freshman Doug Beney will round out the six-man lineup for the Johnnies.

Junior Joseph Busiello will compete as an individual.

The field will consist of three teams, including St. Johns, Villanova and La Salle.

Results will be posted to RedStormSports.com at the conclusion of the day.
