Women’s Golf Places Fourth at Quinnipiac Classic

Pair of Johnnies post top-10 finish at 54-hole event
WALLINGFORD, Conn. – St. John's women's golf finished in fourth place at the Quinnipiac Classic on Tuesday.
The Red Storm shot a 325 during the final round at The Farms Country Club for a 54-hole total of 945. Sacred Heart took home the team title, carding a 933 for the event.
Cloe Clocchiatti was the top finisher for the Johnnie squad as the Padua, Italy native signed off on an 82 for her final round. Clocchiatti tied for eighth place at the tournament, posting a 236 at the event. Jessie Kweon finished a stroke behind the senior to tie for 10th place. The Little Neck, N.Y., native tallied an 81 for her final round and signed off on a 237 for the 54-hole tournament.
Amy Kim carded an 81 during her final round and finished locked in a tie for 14th as she posted a 238 at the event. Karen Beglin followed closely behind Kim as she tallied an 86 on the final day for a two-day total of 239. The sophomore finished the event tied for 17th.
Jill Beglin was the final team finisher, posting a 251 for the event to finish in 44th place. Individually, Angelica Kusnowo tallied an 87 for her final round, tying for 40th place with a 249 for the 54-hole tournament.
The Johnnies will be back in action from Oct. 15-16 as the team participates in the Lady Blue Hen Invitational at Rehoboth Beach Country Club.
