St. John’s Competes at Lady Blue Hen Invitational

Red Storm comes into the clubhouse in 11th place after 36 holes
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – The St. John's women's golf team completed its first day at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational, finishing in 11th place after 36 holes.
The Red Storm posted a 622 through 36 holes at Rehoboth Beach Country Club. Dartmouth came into the clubhouse in first place after the first two rounds, carding a 13-over 589 as a team.
Jessie Kweon paced the Johnnie squad as the Little Neck, N.Y., native signed off on an 8-over par 150 to tie for 13th. The graduate student tallied a pair of birdies when she signed off on a 70 during her first round of the day. Cloe Clocchiatti recorded a 155 through her first two rounds to tie for 35th. The Padua, Italy native carded a 78 during her opening round followed by a 77 during her following 18 holes.
Jill Beglin and Angelica Kusnowo tied for 53rd place with each golfer posting a 160 during their first two rounds. Following two strokes behind the duo was Karen Beglin, who rounded out the Johnnie squad with a 162.
Individually, Laia Barro finished tied for 42nd place, signing off on a 156 for her two rounds of action.
