Red Storm readies for two-day tournament
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's women's golf team hits the road for the Lady Blue Hen Invitational at Rehoboth Beach Country Club from Oct. 15-16.
The 54-hole tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday with the first two rounds and the final 18 will start at 9 a.m. on Sunday. Shotgun starts are scheduled for both days at the par-72 6,169-yard course.
A field of 12 teams will be participating in the 54-hole event including Bucknell, Dartmouth, Delaware State, Harvard, Navy, Pennsylvania, Quinnipiac, Seton Hall, St. John's William & Mary, Youngstown State and host Delaware.
The Red Storm lineup will include Cloe Clocchiatti, Jessie Kweon, Karen Beglin, Angelica Kusnowo and Jill Beglin. Laia Barro will compete as an individual.
In their last outing, the Johnnies took home fourth place at the Quinnipiac Classic. The Red Storm's top finisher was Clocchiatti as the Padua, Italy native tied for eighth place at the tournament, posting a 236 for the event.
Live scoring will be available via Golfstat and results will be posted to RedStormSports.com at the conclusion of each day.
