Fairfield enters the tournament with a 1-4 overall record. The Stags' lone win came from an 11-6 decision against Mount Saint Mary's.
Last season, the Stags went 22-14 and fell to Manhattan and Siena in the second round of the MAAC Tournament. Three members of the 2021 squad were tabbed to the All- MAAC Second Team and three freshmen found spots on the league's All-Rookie Team.
