Red Storm move to 10-2 on the year with decisive victory
QUEENS, N.Y- The St. John's men's tennis team notched another decisive victory on Saturday night, when it defeated Boston University, 6-1.
The latest home win for the Johnnies moved them to a 10-2 record on the spring campaign.
Reigning BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week Axel Vila Antuna and Ignacio Garcia collected another doubles win, blanking the Terriers Adrian Pawolski and Johann Sajonz, 6-0. Vlad Vasilache and Carl Gustavsson corralled the other doubles match with a 6-2 decision over Owen Voigt and Cole Knusten.
In singles play, the Johnnies claimed five of the six matches. Vila Antuna, Garcia, Charlie James, Vasilache and Giuseppe De Camelis all tallied straight set victories on their respective courts for the Red Storm.
Coming up this week, the Red Storm will conclude its three-match home stint with LIU on Wednesday and will head to Princeton on Saturday, March 26.
