Red Storm is back in action at two-day tournament
QUEENS, N.Y. (Apr. 1, 2022) – The St. John's women's golf team heads to Bloomfield, Conn., for the Hartford Invitational at Wintonbury Hills this weekend.
The field for the 36-hole event will feature Hartford, St. John's, Holy Cross, Siena, LIU, Monmouth, Wagner, Post and Southern New Hampshire. Teams will tee off on the par-70, 6,087-yard course beginning at noon on Saturday.
The Johnnies lineup for the tournament will consist of Angelica Kusnowo, Cloe Clocchiatti, Jessie Kweon, Andrea Sanchez and Karen Beglin. Jill Beglin, Laia Barro and Amy Kim will be competing as individuals.
Last time out, the Red Storm finished in eighth place at the Spring Break Shootout at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, Fla., last month. Kusnowo and Clocchiatti concluded the event locked in a tie for 13th place as they both finished the tournament with scores of 219. Kusnowo recorded her first ever hole-in-one at the event, posting the ace during the second round of competition.
Live scoring will be available via GolfStat and all results will be posted to RedStormSports.com at the conclusion of each day.
