Leah Anderson will headline the group competing in two relay races

QUEENS, N.Y.- Four sprinters from the St. John's track and field team will travel to Philadelphia to take part in the 126^th Penn Relays, the first since 2019 due to the pandemic.

The foursome of Leah Anderson, Brooklyn Chestnut, Tatyana McKenzie and Onassha Rogers will compete in the 4x100 relay in the Championship of America division on Friday at 1:10 p.m. Last time out, the 4x100 squad took home a victory at the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J. l with a time of 45.41. With Anderson anchoring the team, St. John's has not finished worse than second during the entire outdoor season.

Anderson and McKenzie will join Skyy Diop and Mandana Vouillemin to take part in the 4x400-meter relay, also in the Championship of America division, at 3:25 p.m. on Friday. The same quartet notched a win at the Larry Ellis Invitational with a time of 3:43.03.

Finals for both races will come on Saturday afternoon, and fans can track results from both events here.
