St. John’s Set to Host Tom Farrell Classic

Red Storm will honor 11 seniors at DaSilva Memorial Field
QUEENS, N.Y.- The St. John's track and field team will wrap up its regular season by hosting the Tom Farrell Classic at DaSilva Memorial Field on Saturday.
The annual home meet for the Red Storm pays tribute to former alumnus Tom Farrell, a two-time Olympian and 1968 bronze medal winner in the 800 meters.
The field events will start the meet, commencing at 10:00 a.m. with the women's hammer throw and followed by the men's and women's discus throws.
Following field competition, 11 Red Storm seniors will also be honored for their contributions to the program during the meet at 12:15 p.m.
The track events will get underway at 12:30 p.m. with the men's and women's 3,000-meter runs. The meet will wrap up with the men's and women's 4x400-meter relays at 4:05 p.m.
