Red Storm kicks off fall season in Hanover, N.H.

The St. John's women's tennis team kicked off its fall slate of competitions this weekend at the Fall Foliage Fest.

The Red Storm competed against student-athletes from Boston College (BC), Dartmouth and UMass at the Boss Tennis Center.

Alicia Gómez impressed in her first competition with the Johnnies, tallying two individual victories. The Hillsborough Community College transfer also picked up a win in doubles play paired with freshman Noemi Babikova, who earned a singles win of her own in her St. John's debut.

Willa Bay Breunich and Nicoline Sartz-Lunde paired up for two doubles victories on the weekend, notching their first wins of the fall season. Camila Ordonez and Victoria Papadoupoulou also picked up their first doubles win of the year. The full results from the weekend are below.

St. John's returns to action next weekend at the Milstein Tennis Center at Columbia University for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regionals.
