Women’s Golf Readies for Red Bandanna Invitational

Red Storm will compete in two-day, three-round event at Blue Hill Country Club
QUEENS, N.Y.– The St. John's women's golf team will return to the course on Monday to compete in the Red Bandanna Invitational, hosted by Boston College.
The two-day, 54-hole event will run on Sept. 25-26 from Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Mass. Live scoring will be available on GolfStat.
The Red Storm will compete in a 15-team field against- Barry, Boston College, Boston University, Cal State Northbridge, Eastern Michigan, Elon, Fairfield, Lehigh, LIU, Merrimack, Monmouth, Mount St. Mary's Sacred Heart and Quinnipiac.
In its first tournament of the 2023-24 campaign, the Johnnies tallied an eighth place finish at the Princeton Invitational on Sept. 16-17.
A pair of transfers Xuan Khue Minh Doan and Kelly Wu led the Red Storm during opening weekend at Springdale Golf Club. Minh Doan recorded an impressive 1-under in the final round in New Jersey to shoot up the leaderboard and tally a top-25 finish. Wu checked in next for the Red Storm in 31st place in the 72-golfer field after logging a 13-over over three rounds.
St. John's is returning to the Red Bandanna Invitational for the first time since 2019.
