Lily Huynh shot season-low even par, 72, in the second round

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – The St. John's women's golf team wrapped up the opening two rounds of the Lady Blue Hen Invitational at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Delaware on Saturday.

The Red Storm shot a near identical team score in each of the first two rounds and finished the day tied for seventh place after carding a 34-over, 610, in Rehoboth Beach, Del.

Freshman Lily Huynh paced the squad on Saturday carding a 5-over, 147, her best performance thus far of her young collegiate career. After recording a 5-over, 77, in the first round, the Chatsworth, Calif., native turned in an even par, 72, in the latter round of the day. The rookie sits tied for 15^th place in the 65-golfer field and led the team with six birdies.

A trio of Johnnies- Xuan Khue Minh Doan, Kelly Wu and Amy Kim all recorded a 10-over, 152, on opening day. Wu had the low-round of the group registering a 3-over, 75, in the second round.

Individual competitor Cathilyn Lee checks in tied for 29^th on the leaderboard after logging a 9-over, 151 and a 3-over, 75, in the first round of the day.

Karen Beglin led the team with 23 pars on Saturday.
