QUEENS, N.Y.- The St. John's women's soccer team will host its regular season finale against Creighton on Halloween on Thursday night at 7 p.m.

The Red Storm return home for the first time in two weeks on Thursday following a two-match road swing in the Midwest. In their last time out, the Johnnies outshot DePaul, 11-10, but ultimately fell to the Blue Demons in Chicago, 2-0.
Jailene DeJesus tied for the game-high with four shots as the midfielder leads the squad in goals (6), assists (3), points (15), shots (46) and shots on target (25). Jordyn Levy logged three shot attempts and Alyssa O'Brien added a pair at Wish Field on Sunday.
Malene Nielsen has played all 90 minutes in net over the last three contests. The senior recorded back-to-back double-digit save performances against Xavier (Oct. 17) and Butler (Oct. 24) and is averaging 7.3 stops per game over her last three appearances.
St. John's leads the all-time series with Creighton since the Bluejays joined the BIG EAST a decade ago, 6-2-3. The series has had a flare for the dramatic in recent meetings with St. John's netting a decisive goal in the last two minutes in each of the last two contests between the schools.
Last year in Omaha, after the Red Storm surrendered a 2-0 lead at Morrison Stadium. Angelina Scoma delivered home a header for her first-ever goal off a cross from Lauryn Tran with just 2:03 to play to propel the Johnnies to a 3-2 victory on Oct. 5, 2023.
In the last meeting in Queens on Oct. 6, 2022, the Red Storm found late-game magic as Brooke Boyd put home an equalizer with just nine seconds remaining to salvage a 1-1 draw with the Bluejays.
Creighton enters the match with an 8-5-2 record and a 5-3-1 mark in BIG EAST competition. The Bluejays have accumulated 16 points during league competition and locked up a spot in the BIG EAST Tournament.
The Bluejays are unbeaten in their last five contests and most recently battled Butler to a 2-2 draw on Sunday at home. Anna Bragg recorded a pair of assists over two matches last week and was tabbed BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Monday. Ariana Mondiri paces the squad with five goals and an assist (11 points).
