St. John’s to Face Providence in Opening Round of the BIG EAST Tennis Championships

The Red Storm will begin tournament play on Thursday at 9 a.m.
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's women's tennis team will begin play in the BIG EAST Tournament Presented by JEEP on Thursday against Providence. The Tournament will be played on April 18-21 in Cayce, S.C.
The sixth-seeded Red Storm will face the 11th-seeded Friars in the tournament's opening round at 9 a.m. at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center.
The winner of Thursday's contest will move on to face Georgetown in Friday's semifinal beginning at 12:45 p.m.
