Xuan Khue Minh Doan Impresses on Moving Day at the BIG EAST Championships

The sophomore shot 2-under, 70, on Sunday
BEAUFORT, S.C.– Xuan Khue Minh Doan shot the lowest round to par by a Red Storm player this season to pace the St. John's women's golf team in second round of the BIG EAST Championships presented by JEEP.
The Red Storm improved upon its round one score by 18 strokes shooting a 12-over, 300, during Sunday's second round. The Johnnies sit in sixth place with a total score of 42-over, 618, through 36 holes.
St. John's recorded 13 birdies as a squad during Sunday's penultimate round in South Carolina.
Minh Doan was firing on all cylinders at Callawassie Island Golf Club firing a 2-under, 70 on moving day. The sophomore tallied five birdies the second most by any player thus far in the conference tournament. The Hanoi, Vietnam native slid up the leaderboard and now sits tied for ninth place heading into tomorrow's final round.
Kelly Wu also produced a solid round recording a 1-over, 73. The sophomore made three birdies on par-4's in the second round checks in tied for 12th place with a score of 6-over.
Cloe Clocchiatti is in 21st place after tallying a 13-over through 36 holes. The Padua, Italy native logged a 6-over, 78 on Sunday.
