Peicheng Chen Tied for First Heading into Final Round at BIG EAST Championships

Chen sits at 2-under for the tournament through 36 holes
HARDEEVILLE, S.C.– St. John's men's golfer Peicheng Chen sits tied atop the leaderboard after two rounds at the BIG EAST Championships presented by JEEP.
The junior is 2-under, 142, for the tournament after the first 36 holes heading to the clubhouse knotted for first with Marquette's Aidan Lafferty. The Beijing, China native shot 1-over, 73, registering four birdies during Sunday's round.
As a team, the Red Storm carded a 15-over, 303, at Riverton Pointe Golf Club in the second round and sit eighth in the tournament field with 18 holes left to play.
David Mlynek tallied a pair of birdies on Sunday and logged a 3-over, 75 in Hardeeville, S.C. The sophomore sits tied for 27thamongst the tournament field.
Ryan Rittberger checks in at 22nd place following the first two rounds. The graduate student posted a 5-over, 77, on Sunday.
