Red Storm Report to Premiere Tonight on MSG Sports Network

QUEENS, N.Y.– The season premiere of The Red Storm Report, a weekly television series providing an inside look at the St. John's Men's and Women's Basketball programs, will air tonight at 6 p.m. on MSG Sports Network (MSGSN).
Episode one will re-air at 11 p.m. on MSGSN. On Saturday, the network will run the show at 3:30 and 11 a.m. ahead of the St. John's women's basketball game at Xavier at 2 p.m. and the St. John's men's basketball team's contest against Villanova at 7 p.m. at Madison Square Garden.
Full episodes of the 10-week series will be available through SJU-TV All-Access video player at RedStormSports.com after the original air dates while individual segments will be available on the St. John's Red Storm YouTube channel.
The Red Storm Report is a 30-minute magazine-style show produced by the St. John's Television Network (SJU-TV). Veteran announcer Brandon Tierney serves as the host and joins Head Coach Rick Pitino weekly for insights and updates on the Red Storm. In addition, the Red Storm Report features player profiles, behind-the-scenes content and a variety of recurring segments, including "Inside St. John's Women's Basketball," each week.
The first episode will remember and honor the life of legendary former St. John's Head Coach Lou Carnesecca, who passed away at the age of 99 on Nov. 30.
This week's St. John's women's basketball player profile will feature senior Lashae Dwyer. The Miami transfer has led the team in scoring averaging 15.3 points per game and finished in double-figures in 14 of 15 contests. The Toronto native ranks 15th in the country logging 3.1 steals per game.
