St. John’s Slides Up Leaderboard in Babs Steffens Invitational Final Round

Red Storm climbed to seventh place on Tuesday
DEBARY, Fla. – The St. John's women's golf team slid up the leaderboard in the final round of the Babs Steffens Invitational on Tuesday, recording a seventh place finish in the 15-team field.
The Red Storm shot a team low for the tournament in the final round 22-over, 310, at DeBary Country Club to move up two spots into seventh place. The Johnnies shot a 77-over, 941, across 54 holes in Florida.
Kelly Wu turned in a strong third round on Tuesday logging a season-low 2-over, 74, fueled by four birdies over her final 18 holes. The junior carded a 14-over, 230, to tie for 16th place in the 86-golfer field.
Junior Cathilyn Lee tied Wu for the lowest round by a Red Storm golfer carding a 2-over, 74. The Houston, Texas native skyrocketed up 16 spots to tie for 21st place finishing with a 16-over, 232.
Xuan Khue Minh Doan closed with a 19-over, 235, to sit just outside of the top-30 checking at 31st place on the leaderboard.
The St. John's women's golf squad will be back on action on March 8-9 for the Northern Kentucky Spring Fling.
