St. John’s to Compete in Northern Kentucky Spring Fling

Red Storm hit the course at Sandridge Golf Club in Vero Beach, Fla.
QUEENS, N.Y.– The St. John's women's golf team will return to the course on Saturday to compete in the Northern Kentucky Spring Fling in Florida.
The Red Storm will partake in the 36-hole event over the weekend at Sandridge Golf Club Dunes Course in Vero Beach, Fla. The Johnnies will tee off at 11 a.m. on Saturday and at 8:30 a.m. for Sunday's final round.
St. John's will compete in an eight-team field against- Purdue Fort Wayne, Loyola Chicago, Duquesne, Eastern Illinois, Saint Francis, Seton Hall and the hosts Northern Kentucky.
The Red Storm line-up will feature Xuan Khue Minh Doan, Amy Kim, Cathilyn Lee, Kelly Wu and Lily Huynh. Charlotte Roodenburg is slated to compete as a individual.
In its last time out, the Red Storm orchestrated a stellar final round to slide up the leaderboard and tally a seventh place finish out of 15 teams at the Babs Steffens Invitational in DeBary, Fla on Feb. 24-25. Wu led the team with a 16th place finish at DeBary Country Club.
