Red Storm travel to South Carolina for three-day tournament
QUEENS, N.Y.– The St. John's men's golf program will be back in action next week when it competes in the GolfWeek Invitational at TrueBlue Golf Club in Pawley's Island, S.C. from March 31- April 2.
The Red Storm will play three rounds over three days from the Palmetto State. 16 teams will make up the competitive field as the Johnnies will compete against- FDU, Georgia State, Marshall, Xavier, Stephen F. Austin, SIU-Edwardsville, Kansas City, LIU, North Alabama, Jacksonville State, USC Upstate, Merce and Valparaiso.
Head Coach Phil Wildermuth's line-up will feature- Peicheng Chen, Joseph Dolezal, David Mlynek, Brandon Sperling and Frank Wu.
The men's golf squad prepares to hit the course for the first time in three weeks, when it competed at the Babygrande Ross Collegiate Classic in Pinehurst, N.C. on March 10-11. The Red Storm tallied a 10th place finish out of a 20-team field. Dolezal checked in with a team-best 11th place finish after shooting 1-under, 215, for the tournament.
