Erin Jones Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

Jones averaged 3.23 kills per set during the Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic
NEW YORK - St. John's volleyball standout Erin Jones was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.Â
Jones guided the Red Storm to a 2-2 week during the Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic this weekend and was named to her third All-Tournament Team.Â
The outside hitter finished the tournament averaging 3.23 kills per set, 3.69 assists per set and 2.46 digs per set.
She was named one of two St. John's players to be named to the nine-player All-Tournament team.Â
The Albuquerque, N.M., native recorded a conference record eight triple-doubles last season and is tied for fifth in the NCAA Division I with 11 triple-doubles in a single season since 2014.Â
In a win over Marist, the senior finished with a game-high 15 kills, adding 11 assists and 10 digs for her first triple-double of the 2025 season in a convincing win over the Red Foxes. Against Delaware St., she secured a line of a team high 15 kills, 17 assists and 12 digs in a 3-1 victory, with her second triple-double of the weekend.
The Red Storm will wrap up its non-conference slate this weekend during the Syracuse Invitational. The Johnnies will face Le Moyne, Siena and Syracuse before returning home to start conference play.Â
