St. John’s to Open Spring Campaign at Space Coast Classic

Final round will be streamed on Championship Golf Network
QUEENS, N.Y.- The St. John's women's golf team will open its spring campaign on Saturday at the Space Coast Classic presented by MoonGolf in Florida.
The Red Storm will play three rounds over two days in its first event of 2026 at Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Fla. The tournament, hosted by Columbia, will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday. The course will play at a yardage of 6,312.
Sunday's final round of the tournament will be streamed by the Championship Golf Network on YouTube. Live scoring will be available throughout the event on SCOREBOARD.
St. John's will compete in a 13-team field against- Columbia, UAlbany, Dartmouth, Duquesne, Emory, Holy Cross, Lipscomb, Notre Dame, Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, Seton Hall and Penn. The Red Storm line-up will feature- Kelly Wu, Lily Huynh, Laura Mizlerova, Cathilyn Leeand Pihla Pennanen. Kirsten Lee will compete as an individual.
The Johnnies competed in four events during the fall, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational on Oct. 13. Wu took home medalist honors at Normanside Country Club. Freshman Laura Mizlerova improved significantly during the fall placing inside the top-30 in each of her last three events.
Following this weekend's tournament, the Johnnies will return to the course when they compete in the UNCW River Landing Classic on March 2-3.
