St. John’s Baseball Announces Promotional Schedule

Red Storm is slated to have 21 home contests during the 2026 season
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's baseball program has unveiled its promotional schedule for the 2026 home campaign. The Red Storm will host giveaways, theme days and special events over its 21 home games at Jack Kaiser Stadium, to check out the full promotional schedule click here.
The promotional calendar begins with Home Opening Weekend against UAlbany from March 6-8. Fans attending any of the three games will receive a limited-edition 2026 Schedule Poster to celebrate the start of the home season. Saturday's game will also feature the Fan of the Game contest.
Throughout the season, every Sunday home game will feature Youth Day / Sunday Run Day and a Junior Johnnies Kids Club Game. Young fans will have the opportunity to participate in the pregame lineup tunnel, enjoy postgame autographs with players and run the bases after the game.
On March 10 against Fairfield, the baseball and lacrosse teams will celebrate Employee Appreciation Day. St. John's employees can enjoy complimentary food and drinks from the Belson Stadium suite while watching both the baseball and lacrosse games. Employees who check in at the marketing table at both events will also be entered into a special raffle. The following afternoon against Marist on March 11 will feature another Fan of the Game promotion.
St. John's hosts Cal Baptist from March 27–29 for a three-game series highlighted by several themed events. Friday's contest will celebrate MLB Opening Day, with fans wearing a baseball jersey entered into a raffle to win tickets to a New York Mets game. Saturday's game will feature Military and First Responders Appreciation Day, recognizing those who serve the community, with first responders receiving a free red camo beanie, along with a Greek Heritage Month Celebration for St. John's Fraternity and Sorority Life.
The Johnnies welcome Wagner on March 31 with another opportunity for fans to participate in the Fan of the Game contest.
BIG EAST play begins at home on April 10 against Georgetown in a three-game set. Friday's game will celebrate National Student-Athlete Day, featuring free Mister Softee ice cream and a raffle where students can win two tickets to an upcoming Mets game. The following day, April 11, is Scouts Day. Local NYC Scouts can participate in pregame activities and postgame base running while receiving a commemorative Scout Day patch.
On April 14 against Hofstra, the program will host the Derek "DJ" Southerland Remembrance Game, honoring the legacy of the beloved St. John's alumnus and athletics supporter. The first 100 students in attendance will receive free JLAB headphones, with the giveaway taking place after the third inning. The game will also feature another Fan of the Game promotion.
The Red Storm welcome the reigning BIG EAST champions Creighton from May 1–3. Giveaways feature a Rope Hat Giveaway for the first 100 fans at both Friday and Saturday's contests. Saturday's game will also serve as Alumni Day, inviting former St. John's baseball players and coaches back to Jack Kaiser Stadium for a pregame reception and on-field batting practice access. Saturday's contest will also include Catholic Schools Day, welcoming local Catholic schools to the game with postgame base running for children ages 12 and under.
St. John's will honor its graduating class on May 5 against Stony Brook during Senior Day, featuring a special pregame ceremony.
The home schedule concludes with a three-game BIG EAST series against Butler from May 14–16. The first two games will feature a Marketing Closet Clean Out, giving fans the opportunity to select one promotional item from the year's giveaways. The regular-season finale on May 16 will also include Youth Day / Postgame Run the Bases along with another Junior Johnnies Kids Club Game.
