As a Graduate Student (2016)
Made 25 appearances, all in relief, pitching 42.0 innings and compiling a 3-1 record and a 1.93 ERA, good enough for second on the squad… Registered two saves on the season… signed to a free agent, minor league contract by the New York Mets organization after the season… pitched 0.2 innings of flawless relief in the season opener against Richmond (Feb. 19)… struck out one in one inning of hitless work against Western Carolina (Feb. 20)… struck out two in 2.1 innings of work and got the win at CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 26)… struck out two in 1.1 innings at Iona (March 8)… pitched two perfect innings against Fairfield (March 16)… allowed only one hit in 3.2 innings of work at Nevada (March 19)… recorded a then season-high three strikeouts and recorded the win against La Salle (March 25)… held Xavier without a run in 2.1 innings of work (April 24)… pitched three scoreless innings at Louisville (April 29)… picked up his third win of the year, striking out three and allowing no hits in 3.1 innings against Butler (May 7)… registered a season-high four strikeouts in just 1.2 innings at Seton Hall (May 13)… Threw 2.2 flawless innings against Creighton (May 21)… made relief appearances against Xavier (May 26) and Seton Hall (May 27) in the BIG EAST Tournament.
