As a Junior (2019):
Played in 46 games, 40 of which were starts… hit .214 while reaching base at a .364 clip and slugging .336… homered three times… hit .260 in 15 games during BIG EAST play… had six multi-hit games… drew 29 walks… logged his first Division I hit in the second game of a doubleheader at Western Carolina (Feb. 24)… hit a two-run homer at San Diego (March 1)… drove in two more runs in the series finale against the Toreros (March 4)… recorded two hits in back-to-back games and kicked off a seven-game hitting streak against Butler (April 6) and Albany (April 9) … doubled in consecutive games against LIU Brooklyn (April 10) and Xavier (April 12)… tallied the game-winning hit against the Blackbirds… went 2-for-5 with a home run in the team’s win against Xavier (April 13)… went 2-for-5 with three runs scored against Villanova (April 19)… homered and scored twice in the series finale with Villanova (April 20)… went 2-for-3 with two RBIs against Stony Brook (April 23)… doubled in the series finale at Georgetown (April 28)… tallied two hits in as many games at Creighton (May 10-12)… went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in the BIG EAST Tournament against Creighton (May 24).

A 31st round pick (926th overall) of the Chicago White Sox in 2016… A four-year letter winner and two-year team captain at Nazareth Academy… named to the All-East Suburban Catholic Conference Team as a junior in 2015.

Brandon Gregory Bossard… son of Roger and Geri Bossard… has an older sister, Brittany… chose St. John’s for its coaching staff and program… also admired the school’s academics and location… a member of the dean’s list at Heartland Community College… won the Continental Amateur Baseball Association (CABA) World Series as a 13-year-old, beating Japan in the final game… lists his father as the person he admires most and Tim Anderson as his favorite athlete… his father, Roger, is the current head groundskeeper for the Chicago White Sox, a job he took over from his father, Gene, when the latter retired in 1983… Brandon hopes to one day continue the family tradition after hopefully playing in the majors himself.
